Buffalo-Ranch Loaded Idaho® Baked Potatoes

What’s better than buffalo sauce and ranch dressing? Buffalo sauce, ranch and Idaho® potatoes! Give chicken wings a run for their money by making Buffalo-Ranch Loaded Idaho® Baked Potatoes. Shredded chicken is smothered in a creamy combination of buffalo hot sauce, cheddar cheese and ranch, then stuffed into a hearty Idaho® baked potato. Leftover cheddar cheese is sprinkled on top of each potato which are put back into the oven for an additional ten minutes, creating an ooey gooey tater. Pro Tip: Top each potato with sliced scallions and crumbled bacon for extra pizzazz!

Wow your fellow campers by preparing Garlic Steak Foil Packs that serve as a delicious, hearty and nourishing meal after a long day of taking in all mother nature has to offer. Made with sirloin steak, Idaho® Dutch yellow potatoes, mushrooms, garlic, onion slices and spices, these ingredients are divided into four foil packets and cooked over an open fire. Another one-foil-dish camping favorite is Classic Idaho® Potato Low Country Boil Grill Packets that includes Idaho® red potatoes, corn, shrimp, andouille sausage, lemons and spices. Ask Dr. Potato

Q: Should I bake my potato in foil?

A: Never bake a potato in foil. The foil will trap the potato’s natural moisture and steam it, rather than bake it, resulting in a soggy baked potato.
